Brazilian Marathon Swimmers with Outstanding Results

The following swimmers are multi World Champions in Marathon Swimming, both in global competitions and Olympics. In Brazil, they trained and competed for Universidade Santa Cecilia, known as UNISANTA, where the project was developed in association with Souza’s IT&D.

According to the OpenWaterpedia (2024), Brazil is ahead of most countries when it comes to Marathon Swimming.

The global website Olympedia.org quickly addresses the swimmer Poliana Okimoto achievements, including her silver medal in 2016 Summer Olympics.

According to the then Universidade Santa Cecilia and Team Brazil Head Coach Marcio Antonio Latuf, Souza’s equipments gave the athletes competitive advantages in analysis not found anywhere else.
